Double Chocolate Protein Truffle

  1. 15 medjool dates, pitted
  2. 1 scoop Designer Whey chocolate protein powder
  3. 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  4. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  5. 1 pinch sea salt
  6. 1/4 cup almond butter
  7. 1/4 buckwheat groats
  8. Chia seeds, cocoa powder, or hemp hearts for topping
  1. Add dates, Designer Whey chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, sea salt and almond butter to the food processor.
  2. Blend in food processor until mixture is a dough-like consistency.
  3. Pour into bowl, add buckwheat groats and mix until combined.
  4. Take dough mixture and scoop into spoon-sized portions. Roll into balls.
  5. Roll truffle balls into desired topping(s) until coated.
